Slam Dunk festival has
been scoring big hoops for the last 10 years, by bringing together an eclectic
mix of the world’s best punk/pop and metal artists. The likes of New Found
Glory, Fall Out Boy, You Me At Six and Paramore are just a handful of names that
have graced the stages, over the last 10 years. The festival now spans three
huge sites over three days on the bank holiday weekend in May.
As the festival
continues to grow the price still remains relatively cheap at around £42.00 a
ticket it could be one of the cheapest around for biggest amount of alternative
bands. This year Slam Dunk has arguably booked one the biggest acts of the
moment with, Panic! At The Disco who just went to number one in America with
their (or his) new album, Death of A Bachelor. If this is not your scene then
the rest of the line-up might excite, Of Mice & Men & New Found Glory
are returning to headline their respective genre stages. These three huge acts
are supported by an amazing plethora of global spanning musicians from
Northlane to Issue, Cancer Bats to The Story So Far. Yellowcard have planned
their return with a special show, playing Ocean Avenue in full, whilst
Hacktivist will be demoing material from their highly anticipated debut album.
These announcements
are just the beginning, as more acts are to be announced, along with DJ’s,
signing sessions and the mammoth after party. Make sure you get the only ticket
